- When tide permits, launch from the sand
- Do Not practice on the grass
- Keep at least 75m away from all embankments except when launching.
The Railway line lies just behind the eastern embankment - Stay well clear of moorings, and the waterski area when in use
- Learn and abide by right of way rules
- Keep a safe distance from other water users
- Disable kites when not in use
- Keep the slipway clear
- Use a kite-leash and safety system, and ensure they work properly
- Please avoid the Eel-Grass exclusion zone (see map), where migrating birds feed and rest between October and November
- Do not disturb the birds at any time as this area is a nature reserve
- Seek advice from locals
- Read the local code of conduct
- 3rd party insurance is strongly recommended
- If in doubt, don't go out
